Non-Equity Auditions for WestEnd Players

WestEnd Players Guild will be holding open auditions for its first
two productions of their 2006-2007 season. (WEPG is a professional
non-equity theatre company)

PRODUCTIONS:
The Oldest Profession- directed by Teresa Doggett Betrayal - directed
by Renee Sevier-Monsey

AUDITION DATES: July 29th, 1-3pm at Union Ave Christian Church - 733
N. Union Blvd at the corner of Union and Enright

These are Non-equity auditions but all actors receive a stipend.

PRODUCTION DATES: Oldest Profession - September 15-24
Betrayal - November 3-12

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Auditions for both shows will consist of cold readings from the script.

Information on roles for BETRAYAL:
EMMA—wife of Robert, lover of Jerry, gallery owner

ROBERT—husband of Emma, best friend of Jerry, publisher

JERRY—lover of Emma, best friend of Robert, literary agent

WAITER—Italian, speaks Italian phrases/accented English

Emma, Robert, and Jerry must be at least mid-30s and all must be
approximately the same age range.

Information on roles for THE OLDEST PROFESSION:
There are 5 female roles available - 50 years and up Four of the five
roles are singing roles. If you are auditioning for one of these,
please prepare a song (“vaudeville style- uptempo and sassy - think
Mae West”). Auditionees should be able to move well
