Union and Non-Union Auditions for CLOSER THAN EVER

Avalon Theatre Company announces auditions for CLOSER THAN EVER by
Richard
Maltby, Jr. and David Shire. Auditions will be held by appointment
only on
Monday, October 16, 2006 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at Union United
Methodist
Church, 3543 Watson Road, St. Louis, MO 63139. Equity performers
will be seen
from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and non-Equity performers from 8:30 pm to
10:30 pm.
Appointments will be taken by the theatre beginning Wednesday,
October 4, 2006.

Avalon Theatre Company is dedicated to hiring Equity and non-Equity
performers
from the St. Louis area and is seeking a racially diverse cast.
CLOSER THAN
EVER requires a cast of 2 men and 2 women to play 30-55, must be
excellent
singers with the ability to move well. Please prepare 32 bars of 2
contrasting
songs (songs from the show are okay). Bring 2 pictures and resumes.
Callbacks
will be Monday evening, October 23, 2006.

Avalon operates under an SPT 1 contract with Actors' Equity Association.
Non-Equity performers receive a stipend and the opportunity to
participate in
the Equity Membership Candidate program. Performers of all ethnic
and racial
