Casting for feature film OUR FAMILY
I am looking for actors to shoot a scene from a feature film, Our
Family, about an African-American family that has to overcome a
personal tragedy. This shoot will be Friday July 20th and Saturday
July 21st, a weekend, to test an HD look. There is no pay, but all
actors will receive a DVD for their resumes, eat well, and be
considered for the film, which is to begin production in St. Louis in
Spring or Summer 2008. Send me a resume and a photo (jpgs,
preferably), or just bring them with you. It's a chance to show your
stuff.
Auditions are Wednesday, July 18th, from 6 pm to 8 pm, at Lindenwood
University, Young Hall, Room 109, Studio.
Driving Directions to Lindenwood University:
If you coming from St. Louis, take I-70 West to the third (second one
going north) St. Charles exit (Highway 94), and turn right. Follow
that road until you see Lindenwood University on the left at the
bottom of the hill. The road divides there, so bear to your left, go
through that stoplight to the next one, which is Watson. Turn left,
and look for the first large building on your left: that's Young
Hall. Find a parking space on campus or on the street (park on
Lindenwood's side or you might get a ticket), and come to the first
floor.
Jordan Turner: African-American, 16 year male, handsome and athletic.
Keesha Turner: African-American, 17 year old female.

"Papa Joe" Turner: African-American, 60s-70s, has aphasia, a brain
disorder.
Detective Alex Moser: Caucasian, 40s, seasoned, pill-popping cop..
Detective Ronnie Davis: African-American, late 20s, early 30s.

I will also be looking for crew: grips, gaffer, sound, wardrobe, and
