Auditions for DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

Shrewsbury Community Theater is holding auditions for Disney's High School Musical on Friday, August 17 from 6-9 p.m., Saturday, August 18 from 12:30-4:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 19 from 12-3 p.m. at the Shrewsbury City Center.  Auditions are open to people ages 6-18.  Please prepare no more than 32 bars of a song and bring a current photo.  Youth pursuing lead roles should sing a more modern song for the audition (songs from High School Musical are preferred).  An accompanist will be present.  Accompaniment CD's may also be used provided there are no lead vocals.  Productions dates will be October 11-14.  Registration fees are $45 for Shrewsbury residents and $55 for non-residents.  This fee is only paid if cast in the show.  Please call the Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation Department at (314) 647-1003 to schedule an audition or for more information.
