Auditions for Caston's Ballet company

Caston's Ballet Academie

WHAT:
Open auditions for the Caston Chamber Ballet, a pre-professional
company operating under the direction of Torris Caston. Selections
will be made for roles in upcoming Nutcracker performance as well as
for permanent positions with the company. Performance calendar runs
from December thru June.
Auditions are free. Dancers must be at least 15 years old. Pointe
experience required.

WHEN:
November 10, 2007
3-5 p.m.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Alternative arrangements can be made
for those unable to attend.

ABOUT CCB:
The Caston Chamber Ballet was co-founded by Torris and Shannon Caston
in 2004 to provide performance opportunities for aspiring classical
dancers. The technical strength of the Company has allowed for such
ambitious works as Coppelia, The Nutcracker, La Boutique Fantastique,
selections from Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, the Pas de Trois and
Odalisques from Le Corsaire, Paquita, Pas de Quatre and others.

Although the Chamber's primary performance focus lies in the staging
of the classics, and the choreography of Mr. Caston; the company also
provides opportunities to nurture and showcase aspiring choreographers.
