Freelance AV Technicians needed

The Missouri History Museum in Forest Park is seeking reliable and
qualified audio/visual and auditorium technicians for freelance work at
the Museum's Lindell and DeBaliviere location. Duties will include
running tech services for various types of events in the Museum's 350
seat
auditorium, videotaping various Historical Society events, setting
up, operating, and striking portable sound systems, screens, LCD
projectors,
etc.

Training specific to our systems and procedures will be provided
however you should have a general working knowledge of theater
lighting systems,
live sound and live sound mixing, patch bays, DVD and Powerpoint
presentations, laptops (Mac and PC), and LCD projectors.

This is a freelance position and no set number of hours can be
guaranteed as work will vary with the schedule of events and projects
happening at
the Museum at any given time. Pay rate will be $25/hour and, once
approved, you will be added to our payroll system and tax will be
deducted
for you by the Missouri Historical Society...you will not be 1099ed
at the end of the year or have to worry about paying tax yourself.
