Actors Needed for High-Quality Short Film

A filmmaker currently living in St. Louis, has acquired the film rights to the best-selling science fiction novel by David Brin, "Startide Rising," (a former winner of the Nebula, Hugo, and Locus awards for "Best
Novel.")  He's making a short film based on the novel and is looking for a few good St. Louis actors to  round out his LA cast.

The film will be shot on the RED camera -- the latest technological development in cameras for high-end films, commercials, and music videos. The film also will contain lots of slick special effects.  Shooting is scheduled for mid-May.

This is a short film, not intended for commercial release, although it will be submitted  to film festivals, worldwide.  So, there's no pay, but everyone  will be fed and get a copy of the film when it's finished.
You should be  a good actor, physically fit, and attractive, for the following roles:

Male, age range 13-18
Male, mid-20s, around 5'10-6', well-built
Female, around 30

Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 27, 1-3 PM, in downtown St. Louis.  If interested, e-mail your headshot and resume' to michael_ketcher@yahoo.com.
