Auditions for ColeBeanBay Theatre Company

ColeBeanBay Theatre Company, now in our second year,  is a professional summer theatre that operates in beautiful Sainte Genevieve, MO.  ColeBeanBay operates under an SPT2 contract with Actors Equity Association.  Our 2008 Summer Season includes Cabaret and Fiddler on the Roof, both directed by Landon Shaw.  We are seeking Equity and Non-Equity actors of all experience levels.  

WHEN: Saturday, April 13th FREE Audition workshop from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM.  Open to anyone interested in gaining tips and tricks for a successful audition.  Saturday, April 20th Equity Audition Appointments from 2:00-2:30.  Non-Equity Appointments from 2:30-4:00 and Callbacks from 4:00-5:00.  You do NOT need to attend the workshop in order to audition!

WHERE: Orris Theatre in Sainte Genevieve, MO 265 Merchant Street in the square.

HOW TO AUDITION: Email auditions@dramaramatheatre.com.  We will fill appointments on a first come-first serve basis.  You will be notified by email within 48 hours as to when your appointment is.  Equity actors, please indicate that you are Equity in your email so we can assign you a time in our Equity block.  Appointments are every 5 minutes.   You may also call (314) 481-3841 to schedule an appointment, if you do not have access to email.

WHAT TO PREPARE: Prepare 32 bars of a standard musical theatre selection and bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided.  Please have additional selections available. No acappella auditions will be allowed.  Please bring a headshot and resume as well as a list of conflicts for June, July, and August.  Cabaret rehearses June 3rd-June 19th and opens June 19th-July 6th.  Fiddler on the Roof rehearses July 1st-July 17th and opens July 17th-August 3rd.  Callbacks will consist of cold readings and possible dance call.

SEEKING: Adult Men and Women 18 years and older, all types for Cabaret. Men, women, and children of all ages for Fiddler on the Roof.  Seeking Equity actors for Golde and Lazar, the role of Tevye has been cast.
