General auditions

Auditions will be held in May for the St. Charles Community College History Theatre Festival.  The festival will take place September 4-14 on the college campus.

Audition:  Sounds of the Cabaret
Monday and Tuesday, May 5-6, 2008
7 p.m. In the Auditorium of the Social Sciences Building on the college campus.

Looking to cast singers and dancers.  Singers of all ranges welcome.  Dancers should be advanced in jazz and tap.  A pianist will be provided at auditions.  Singers should bring their own sheet music.  Dancers need to bring their own music/sound system.

The cast will perform a one-hour cabaret style show of music of the 1930's-50's  for The History Theatre Festival. Rehearsals will begin in early summer.

Audition:  An Evening of Opera
Saturday, May 10, 2008
1-3 p.m. In Room 104 of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the college campus.

Singers are needed to perform "An Evening of Opera."  Please bring your own sheet music.  A pianist will be provided.  Selections for the production will include Mozart, Verdi, and Puccini.  Cast will include leads and an ensemble.  Rehearsals will begin in early summer.
