Equity and Non-Equity Auditions

EQUITY & NON-EQUITY AUDITION CALL:
Stray Dog Theatre 2008-09 Studio Workshop Production

Stray Dog Theatre (SDT), in its continuing mission to promote theatre, outreach, and education, presents the annual Studio Workshop Production. Each year, local artists have the opportunity to propose a play that aims to stretch and assist their artistic growth. One submission is selected and fully produced by Stray Dog Theatre in each season. This opportunity is available to actors, directors, playwrights, and designers who seek to hone their craft.

This year, SDT is pleased to announce the selection of A.R. Gurney's comedy, SYLVIA, proposed by director Lana Pepper as the 2008-2009 Stray Dog Theatre Studio Workshop Production.

Acting Opportunities
Greg: A financial trader living in Manhattan (40's)
Kate: Greg's wife, a public school English teacher (40's)
Sylvia: A street-smart mixture of Lab & Poodle - Female actress (20's -30's)
(The role of the friend has been cast)

Sides from the script are provided at the audition. Audition Room opens at 10:00am. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your call.

Non-equity actors will receive a stipend and Equity actors will be contracted through a Special Appearance agreement.
