ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Professional Teen Training Program is an intensive training program in which the participants have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals from the theatre world in an effort to produce a full professionally produced show. This program is to be taken seriously and only serious minded people will be invited to participate. Due to the schedule that we have to maintain in order to ensure a solid production students with an extreme number of conflicts will not be able to participate. Please note that all roles will have an understudy as well. Because this is a training program and cast and crew members benefit from this on an educational level as well, there is a mandatory tuition fee of $140.00 that all cast and crew members must provide. This fee includes scripts, costumes, and a cast shirt.
PLEASE NOTE: RENT is a mature show with mature themes and nothing has been cut in terms of the story line or characters. The licensing agreement that we have with MTI specifically states that we MUST present the show as written. Please ONLY audition if you have received permission from your parent or guardian.
DramaRama is also seeking technicians that are interested in working on RENT. We are seeking a qualified stage manager, props manager, publicity manager, front of house manager, sound board operator, light board operator, and assistant stage manager.
