First Run Theatre Call for Directors for 7th Season

First Run Theatre, a non-profit professional theatre company, is calling for directors for our 7^th season. Resumes will be accepted through January 31, 2009. First Run Theatre will do three productions, selected from our 2008 submissions, in May, July 2009, and January 2010. We will need at least 1 director for each. Two directors if a production consists of 2 one acts. All directors will be paid a stipend and the productions will be judged for the Kevin Kline Awards. 

First Run will also need two directors for the Spectrum 2009 Short Play Festival in June 2009. These positions will also be paid a stipend but Spectrum will not be eligible for Kevin Kline judging. All performances and most rehearsals will be in the Thomas Hunter Theater at DeSmet Jesuit High School.

Prospective directors are strongly suggested to attend as many readings of First Run Theatre's Play Reading Festival on February 12, 14, and 15, as possible. Productions for the upcoming season will be selected from these readings. Plays for Spectrum will be selected at a later date.
