SRD & Wright Ministry of Performing Arts, Inc. announces open
auditions for Sherry Wright-Gully's drama, Circle of Influence.
Requires an ensemble cast of 12 (5m, 7f).
St. Louis, IL- January 26, 2009 - Meet a group of high school
teenagers whose lives are headed in VERY different directions based on
decisions and unforeseen circumstances. REESE (lead) is a troubled
teenager dealing with the divorce of her parents and her mother's new
devil-eyed lover. Reese is a smart Christian girl who is an active
praise dancer at church, and a cheerleader at school. However, her
faith is challenged as she has to contend with her mother's new
lifestyle, in addition to adjusting to the absence of her father.
Reese has several friends and a well-meaning grandmother yet her
Circle of Influence is assigned to break her will. This dramatization
is the true story (in part) of Chi Mathias and speaks to teenage
pregnancy, molestation, and HIV.

Seeking - teenagers & adults. Experience is NOT necessary, but is a
plus. All casting is done on a per production basis. Inexperienced
persons will most likely be cast in a supporting role when by audition
there is demonstrated performance potential. Company rules will be
determined in the best interest of the production at all times.
Missing rehearsals may result in replacement of your character with or
without notice. Good work ethics are expected.

Requirements: Be prepared to present two, one - three minute monologue
(original monologues are welcome). Singers should be prepared to sing
accapella or bring an accompaniment track (be sure to select a song
that will show your range). Praise Dancers be prepared to present a
short dance (bring your own track).
