Auditions for THE PLAYING GROUND

First Run Theatre opens its seventh season with "The Playing Ground,"
by John Wolbers. It will be directed by Suki Peters and produced by
Jim Meady. Performance Dates are May 22, 23, 29 & 30 evening
performances; May
24 and 31 matinee performances

Audition Dates: March 28 @ Noon and March 31 @ 7:00 PM. Auditions
will be at DeSmet Jesuit High School, 233 N Ballas Road, Creve Coeur.
Auditions will consist of cold readings and should last no more than
three hours. Please bring a resume and head shot of you have them.

Synopsis:

First Run Theatre, a professional company dedicated to presenting
world premiere productions of plays by local-area playwrights,
presents a new play that examines a small slice of the lives of three
10-year-old children and their families. There are three cast members
who play nine characters, both children and adults.

The Actors: (1 male – 2 female – all 20s–30s):
Actor 1: Jimmy, Greg & Alex
Actor 2: Lindsey, Judith & Evelyn
Actor 3: Reagan, Zoe & Stacy

The Characters:
Jimmy Miller – 10 years old
Lindsey Corrigan – 10 years old
Reagan Whitfield – 10 years old
Zoe – Jimmy's 2nd mom, late 40's
Judith Miller – Jimmy's mom, 30's
Evelyn Whitfield – Reagan's mother, 40's
Greg Whitfield – Reagan's father, 40's
Alex Corrigan – Lindsey's little brother, 6 years old
Stacy Corrigan – Lindsey's mom, late 20s
