Non-Union Auditions for WHEN TO FORGIVE

Casting for gospel stage play, WHEN TO FORGIVE.  This production is set for May 1st and 2nd, 2009.  

Summary of Play:  A lawyer, while fulfulling the last wish of her friend, is lead to help a family overcome the obstacles and issues from their past in attempt to reunite the family before it's too late.

ROLES:

Karen - Friend of Terry and Andre. MUST BE ABLE TO SING(Age 24+) 

Precilla - Andre's ex-girlfriend (Age 18+)

Camille - Andre's oldest, most successful sister.  MUST BE ABLE TO SING(Age 24+)

Older/mature looking man (35-40) approaching Terry/stage hand
Younger man (18-25) approaching Terry/stage hand
restuarant waitress/gas station customer/stage hand (Age 18+)
prison guard/gas station customer/stage hand (Age 18+, must look mature)

Terry - Age 21-35 (possibly an understudy position) - Lawyer, lead to help family.  MUST BE ABLE TO SING(Age 24+)

Andre - Age 21-40 (possibly an understudy position) - convict, looking to reunite family before it's too late.  MUST BE ABLE TO SING(Age 24+)

Narrator - Age 25-40 (possibly an understudy position) 

Star -   (possibly an understudy position) - Camille's young daughter.  An energetic, expressive female from ages 11-13.  Small, but healthy frame preferred. Role may involve some physical contact.

Susan   (possibly an understudy position) - Andre's sister.  A recovering drug addict, in her mid 30's. (age 23+)

Kurt    (possibly an understudy position) - Andre's older brother, a flamboyant, ladies man. (age 25+, mature looking) MUST BE ABLE TO SING(Age 24+)

Phillip (possibly an understudy position) - Andre's youngest brother, who is somewhat following in Andre's footsteps. (age 18-24, thug look)
