Auditions for WONDER OF THE WORLD
Orange Girls Theatre will hold auditions for the final show of its 2009 season, David Lindsay-Abaire's screwball comedy Wonder of the World. This production will be directed by Deanna Jent and run September 24 – October 11 (Thursday thru Saturday at 8pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm). All performances and rehearsals are at COCA in the Anheuser-Busch Black Box Theater.
Orange Girls is seeking non-Equity and Equity performers for the following roles:
Kip Harris: a husband in his 30s
Lois Coleman: a woman in her late 30s, an alcoholic with a barrel
Karla: a woman in her 60s, a dabbler
Glen: her husband, in his 60s, a dabbler
Captain Mike: 30s, captain of The Maid of the Mist
Barbara, Helicopter Pilot, Waitresses and Janie: all played by one actress
The role of Cass Harris is already cast.
Auditions will be held at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) at 524 Trinity Ave. in University City on Saturday, April 18 from 10am until 2pm. No monologues please. Sides are available for perusal at the COCA front desk. Callbacks will be held Sunday, April 19 from 3-5 pm at COCA.
