Auditions for ONCE UPON A MATTRESS - REMINDER

Just a reminder: Hard Road Theatre in Highland, IL will be holding auditions for the musical ONCE UPON A MATTRESS.

Auditions:
10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 
7:30 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2009 

Auditions will be held at the First Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, 801 Washington Street, Highland, IL. 

ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is a musical comedy interpretation of the classic fairy tale, "The Princess and the Pea."

Those auditioning will be required to prepare a short song (not from the show) which best highlights his/her vocal ability. An accompanist will be present, so it is necessary to bring sheet music; taped accompaniment will not be allowed. Those seeking a speaking role will perform a cold reading from the script.

There are roles available for high school students through senior citizens.

Performance dates are 7:30 P.M. July 24,25,31, and Aug. 1 & 2:00 P.M. July 26 and Aug. 2, 2009 at the Highland Upper Elementary Auditorium. The show is directed by Linda Coleman.
