Auditions for singers
Group Name: Greenleaf Singers Inc.
Status: 501-c3 nonprofit, officially registered. Group originally
formed in 1976.

Compensation: None-all volunteer group
Needs: Need singers for all 4 voice parts, Soprano Alto Tenor Bass
Ages: 21 and up. This is not a children's music ensemble-younger
singers are encouraged to continue singing with their school ensembles.
Gender: Either
Audition times: Will be arranged with each singer-will audition on a
scheduled evening in the Saint Louis area, probably on a Tuesday. Will
schedule as needed to audition for slots.
Singers Needed: Must have university level choral/vocal experience,
or equivalent (so if you have not been to a university but have
significant good quality choral training/experience, that is fine).
Must be able to read music and sight read well. All performance music
is memorized. Must be able to sing with a straight tone, and be able
to match intonation and harmonize in a small singing group. Must be
able to carry a part strongly.
Must be able to purchase or provide your own renaissance costume-a
list of providers is available for new singers.
Performances: Several madrigal dinners performed at several churches
in late November and December each year. Also perform at Shakespeare
festival and the Renaissance Faire in Wentzville, MO each year, as
well as a few other miscellaneous gigs (private events, parties, etc.).
