Auditions for part improv and part scripted production
at Steampunk Adventure Theatre in Maplewood, MO
STEAMPUNK ADVENTURE THEATRE TO HOLD AUDITIONS.
WHEN: SEPTEMBER 8, 2010 7PM TO 10PM

WHAT: These shows are set in a fictional 1890’s and are part improv and part scripted. Auditions will consist of cold readings and some improv work. Dialect skills are a definite plus.
CHARACTERS:
QUENTIN RANDOLPH GOODFELLOW, FRS: an English scientist and adventurer, very dignified, very intelligent.
DESTINY CHANDLER: an American cowgirl from Arizona, feisty and boisterous; she is a crack shot.
RAMSEED BEY: an Egyptian gentleman. Actually, an ancient Egyptian gentleman. He was residing in the British Museum until Professor Goodfellow removed the curse that had been placed on him. Ramseed is 3000 years old and still a ladies man.
LORD VAUXHALL: ne’er do well nobleman. . He is intent on proving that he is the rightful heir to the thrones of both England and France. He will use any means at his disposal.
MORTÉ de LANREZAC: an enigmatic woman with a mysterious origin. She is helping Lord Vauxhall in his quest, but may have an agenda of her own.
COLE: a professional criminal who was aided in his escape from Dartmoor Prison by Lord Vauxhall and now serves as his go-between to the criminal world.
ASSORTED EXTRAS: all manner of character types needed.
