Improvisation for Teens
Age: 14-18
Students will learn the art of improvisation as a tool to build acting skills. Improvisation teaches poise, quick thinking, and cooperation while developing the ability to create and communicate both physically and vocally. Through games and exercises, students will tap into their own spontaneity to create intriguing characters and situations.

Age: 18 and up.
Improvisation teaches poise, quick thinking and cooperation, while developing the ability to create and communicate both physically and vocally. Improvisation is a tool that can be used by anyone in any circumstance. Through exercises and improv games, participants will gain a better understanding of how improvisation can be used in rehearsal, on stage and in life. Eligible for performance card use.

Students will build upon skills and techniques such as focus and relaxation, voice and diction. They will participate in ensemble and character building exercises as well as work on monologues and scenes. Eligible for Class Card use.
