Hi all,
I'm seeking models in the St. Louis area to showcase new products for my fashion company, Hanky Pancreas, LLC.
Hanky Pancreas is a clothing and accessories company that develops functional and fashionable solutions for the diabetic's insulin pump. The goal is to improve its comfort while also transforming it into an accessory. This concept has received significant attention from famous fashion bloggers as well as world leaders in health technology.
If you are person living with diabetes - - I'm looking for you! If you wear an insulin pump, even better! If you aren't living with diabetes but have a close relationship to someone who wears a pump and/or feel strongly about finding a cure, tell me your story and I'll still consider you!
While my product line is still in development, I'm open to all age groups with a special focus currently on female teens and young adults (aged ~30 or younger). I'm also interested in groups of individuals, so if you and your diabetic best friend or little sister want to be in a shoot together let me know. In the shoot you would be either wearing your own pump or a nonfunctional one that I will provide, and its associated accessory.
No previous modeling experience is necessary. If you are under 18, you'll need a parent to come with you when we do the shoot. Dates and location of the shoot still to be determined.
Compensation will take place in the form of high quality digital images and the possibility to be featured on our website and in promotional materials telling your story (if you want). In addition you will receive a special discount on Hanky Pancreas products and be added a VIP mailing list. On top of all that, you'll get to hang out with one of the coolest diabetics in St. Louis, me!
