Auditions for WIZARD OF OZ
at Spotlight Productions in Chesterfield, MO
Spotlight Productions is announcing open auditions for our upcoming production of Wizard Of Oz directed by Sherry Liliensiek, musical direction by Chris Eubank, and choreography by Mary Fedak.
Dates:
Friday, April 29, 2011 (6:00pm-9:00pm)
Saturday, April 30, 2011 (10:00am-4:00pm)
Callbacks: Saturda, April 30, 2011 (5:00pm-7:00pm)
Auditions and performances will take place at Marquette High School Theater @ 2351 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017
Auditions are by appointment only. Visit our website @ www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/spotlightproductions and fill out the audition appointment form to schedule your appointment. Auditions are open to everyone ages 6 and up. No experience necessary. Rehearsals will begin June 6, 2011 and will primarily take place from 2pm-5pm Monday through Friday. Please prepare the below items for your audition:
- Prepare 16-32 measures of a song of your choice. Please do not select a song from Wizard Of Oz. You must provide sheet music for your song selection.
- Headshot (does not need to be professional)
- Appropriate dance attire such as leotards, tights, dance clothing, ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and character shoes. Dance appropriate clothing DOES NOT include jeans, low cut tops, clunky shoes, flip flops, overly revealing tops or pants, and dresses (unless appropriate garments are worn underneath).Be prepared to move around and possibly sit on the floor. Do not wear anything that might restrict that movement.
