A young writer, Ethan, resigns himself to reclusive passivity while he's haunted by a failed relationship. He struggles to find both inspiration and motivation to write and submit his work for the world to see. He grapples with separating his personal rejection by Natalie, who has since moved on, with the potential rejection of his fiction.

NATALIE: (FEMALE 18-28) The former girlfriend of the protagonist, Ethan. The two dated in college, and she was supportive of the introverted writer and encouraged him to submit his writing. The relationship fell apart over time due to Ethan's selfishness, and she has since moved on and is currently engaged. Much of the film takes place over a stretch of time both in the present and within Ethan's memories, so an emotional range is necessary.

FIANCÉ: (MALE 21-28) Natalie's new fiancé.

WAITRESS: (FEMALE 18-35) She is the mother of a young DAUGHTER (FEMALE 3-8). We are seeking an actress who is either the mother/sister/aunt, etc. of a young girl who would also be interested in bringing her to play her daughter. This role would not be too time consuming, and you would need to be responsible for the young actress. No prior acting experience is required for either role.

If interested in any of these roles please email Ryan:
