Adult/Child Actors and Actresses need for short film
at All Night Pictures in Bethalto, IL (near Alton)
_Split Decision_ is a film that will be made In the St. Louis area by a large crew of professionally trained students from Columbia College Chicago. We have roles for men, women, and children.
It's a film about a middle school English teacher, Jackson Davies (31) who also trains as a mixed martial arts fighter. Jackson gets an opportunity that may allow him to train professionally full-time, so he realizes that he must make a decision between teaching and fighting. He struggles with his age, capability, and the attempted persuasion from his friend and colleague, Sofia (28) and from his trainer, Bernie (32), each of whom are pulling him in different directions.
Characters needed:
Sofia Deren: 28, female
Bernie Walters: 32, male, athletic build, physically capable
Thomas Walters: 12, male
Addison Jones: 12, male
Ashton Reese: 24, male, athletic build, physically capable
Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 26th from 10AM-5PM in the community room at 213 N Prairie Street, Bethalto, IL 62010. Appointments preferred; walk-ups also accepted. Please bring a headshot and resume. A prepared dramatic monologue is preferred; we will also be doing cold reads from the script.
Shoot dates are April 28-May1. Actors will not be needed on set for all days.
Roles are unpaid, but we plan on making an international run on the festival circuit.
