WEST SIDE STORY- Musical Theater Camp
at Trinity Lutheran School in Edwardsville, IL
Trinity Lutheran Theater Camp
Come enjoy a week of learning techniques on acting, dancing, and singing for the stage of Musical Theater! At the end of the week, students will learn many seens from Sondhiem WEST SIDE STORY. Activities will include:
• Dance training.
• Acting Improvisation.
• Learning History of Musical Theater.
• The Who, What, When, Where’s and Why’s of Musical Theater.
• Learning How to Audition and get the role.
• Song Preparation, technique, and learning how to perform it well.
Ages: Incoming 6th Graders (12) - Incoming Juniors (16)
Sunday July 10th (5:00pm-8:00pm- Opening Day)
Monday July 11th- Tuesday July 12th from 9:30am-2:30pm
With a Performance on Saturday July 13th at 2:00pm
All Events will be held at Trinity Lutheran School
For the"mini" Auditions on July 10th, students must have a song of any musical theater piece prepared.
Cost for Theater Camp will be $50.00.
