Missouri Academy of Staged Combat
at Missouri Academy of Staged Combat in St. Louis City, MO
The Missouri Academy of Staged Combat (Fight-Director.org). is progressing slowly. I still can't say for certain where regular classes will be held. Special workshops will happen (ideally) all over, but I'm still looking for a "home base" within St. Louis... or maybe JUST south of St. Louis.
Though I don't know where or when, I plan to make the first class a FREE two day, 6 hour intensive covering empty-hand fighting, falls, rolls and VERY basic sword primer
The purpose of this post is to determine how much interest there is in the St. Louis area in:
Broadsword
Rapier
Smallsword
Sword & Shield
Rapier & Dagger
Acting the Fight
Action Film-making
Shakespeare' s Famous Fights
Martial Arts (for staged combat)
Firearms Training (modern & period)
Comedic Staged Violence/Slapstick
Staged Domestic Abuse
Quarterstaff
Knife Fighting
Staged Take-downs/Grappling
AND MUCH MORE!
If you are between 13 and 93 and have an interest in these art forms please contact me.
If you have a group, theatre company, production company, school, etc... and might be interested in having me come to your facility to teach these art forms please contact me.
