Oleanna, by David Mamet, directed by Annamaria Pileggi
Performances: Jan 19 – Feb 4
Rehearsals begin: Dec 26
Callbacks: Sunday, August 21, 10:00 Centene Center

Seeking to cast all roles:
John – a white, male, forty-something college professor. He is a member of the ruling class, about to be granted tenure at the college and situated in a very nice cloud of upper-middle class security. This makes him pompous and inherently oppressive, but he is good at heart, with an honest desire to express his thoughts (which he often thinks quite a bit of) to his students.
Carol – a student, undergraduate in her early twenties, who, despite attending an institution of higher learning, feels oppressed to an extent that denies her full education. She is seemingly incapable of synthesis, often consulting her notes to get the facts straight but rarely coming up with an original idea of her own. Her charges ultimately belie a desire for power, a political agenda and an unexplained amount of anger.

Rounding Third, by Richard Dresser, directed by Sarah Armstrong
Performances: May 10 – May 26
Rehearsals begin: April 16
Callbacks: Sunday, August 21, 1:00

Seeking to cast the following roles:
Don – male, 30’s/40’s. Don is a tough, blue-collar, win-at-all-costs veteran little-league coach whose son is the star pitcher.

Oleanna, by David Mamet, directed by Annamaria Pileggi
Oleanna is Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet’s most controversial drama. Oleanna has electrifying dialogue, blazing emotion and an ending that will leave you talking for weeks. In this riveting drama, a college professor and his female student become embroiled in a war of words that takes a dangerous turn. As their serene campus transforms into a battleground for justice, Mamet's explosive masterpiece dares you to take a side . . . if you can.

Rounding Third, by Richard Dresser, directed by Sarah Armstrong
Rounding Third is the tumultuous journey of two Little League coaches through an entire season, from their first tentative meeting to the climactic championship game. Michael believes that the job of the coaches is to shield the kids from the intense pressure of competition while making sure everyone has a good time. Don thinks they should be teaching the kids how to win. Out of these conflicting philosophies, the real issues of the play emerge: how should we raise our children? Since we live in such a ferociously competitive society, do we protect our children as long as possible? Or do we prepare them to be tough enough to win? And what does it mean to be an American man?
