Talent needed for Talent Show
at The Jumpin Jupiter in St. Louis City, MO
Thursday "St.Louis has got talent" @ The Jumpin Jupiter
The Jumpin Jupiter is what we call a Las Vegas style show club with food and drink and a theatrical stage. Like a theater in a bar.
We are looking for talent to do acts for a show are starting. Its kind of a talent show, and we do it as a theatrical performance that is funny and we also pull in amatures to sign up to perform It is also used as auditions for our venue, and weekend entertainment. We have found that it is good for us to have acts that we pay for to keep the show moving Theae "plants" can be purposely good or outragious designed to be silly bad funnny or shocking. Between the MC talking and these acta that we are looking for we pull people for the audience and have them sign up (like Karioki). But its bar drinking entertainment and a talent show Acts have been singing, dance, hooping, jugling, acoustick song writers, men doing burlesque in an obvious silly style, someone running around the place in an animal from the muppets, comedian, vantrilaquest, and more.
We would love to get in touch with people who do comedey, improve, acting or anything else to either, just sign up for the show as a way to get on stage, or have several differnt acts they can do that are good or bad. Basically ham it up.
We are low on funds but the night is growing. We are also looking for live band to play music between the gong show sets. As for now we are looking for someone to sign up for free, work for $50 for the night, or be able to do a lot for $100. We have a host and hostess who are great, just looking for the other fluff. As it builds we will add our house dancers and make it like a big vegas show.
We are also developing a live improve show, for anyone interested, a drag show, with people who actually have TALENT (sing, dance, comedy etc) if interested please contact me.
