Auditions for THE WIZARD OF OZ - REMINDER
at Magdalen Players in St. Louis, MO
Auditions for "The Wizard of Oz" (RSC version) will be held at:
St. Mary Magdalen School Hall
4911 Sutherland Ave. (at Kingshighway Blvd.)
St. Louis, MO 63109
Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9 from 7-9 PM
Callbacks will be Thursday, August 11 at 7 PM.
Performances will be October 21-23.
Auditions are open to children entering 3rd grade through adult. Be prepared to sing at least 16 bars from either a song of your choice or from the score. Children interested in specific Munchkin parts must bring their own music or use a song from the score. Girls wishing to audition for the role of Dorothy must sing “Over the Rainbow” (music will be provided). Please note that if you are auditioning for a speaking role you will be asked to perform a cold reading from the script.
If you are new to the Magdalen Players, please bring a headshot and/or resume. All inquiries may be made with director, Peggy Dereak at pdereak@att.net
