at ARTS FOR LIFE in St. Louis, MO
AUDITIONS for Love, Lift Us Up - An Original Musical Revue
ARTS FOR LIFE is holding Auditions for its production of Love, Lift Us Up on August 30 and 31 from 6 to 9 pm at Bayless High School, 4530 Weber Road, 63123. Performance dates are October 22 (2 and 7:30 pm) and October 23 (7:30 pm) at Bayless High School.
All proceeds will benefit the people from Joplin and North St. Louis affected by tornados earlier this year. ARTS FOR LIFE has engaged the American Red Cross and Catholic Charities as beneficiaries of the proceeds. Catholic Charities is working directly with families who have lost everything in the Joplin tornado and particularly with those who are getting no relief from FEMA and major charities. This benefit will come to the aid of those who have been overlooked. Your participation in this event can make a real difference. Our goal is to raise $50,000 with Ticket and T-Shirt sales. All talent is donated.
If you are between 10 years old and 100 and can sing, dance or act, please audition. Prior experience in theatre is required and Equity performers are welcome. We also need a friendly dog that is used to noise, people and lights.

REQUIRED DATES: Technical Rehearsals: Sunday, Oct. 16 from 2 - 5 pm; Weekdays, Oct. 19, 20, 21 from 6 - 9 pm, Show Dates: October 22 and 23

WHAT TO BRING: Headshot, resume, 16 to 32 bars of music to perform and completed questionnaire. Be prepared to list conflict dates. Be familiar with solo or small ensemble numbers from the show song selections if you want to audition for specific parts. Wear dance clothes and character shoes for dance audition.
