Actors needed for Reading 11/16 & 11/23
at Tesseract Theatre Company in University City, MO
Tesseract Theatre Company is seeking a couple actors to fill some last minute spots for a reading later this month. A couple scheduling conflicts came up with original cast.
Actors must be available to be at a closed rehearsal reading on Wednesday November 16th and then at the public reading on Wednesday November 23rd (the night before Thanksgiving).
Actors needed for following parts:
EVAN KLEIN - an associate professor of American literature
KENDRA PITNE - EVAN’s ex-wife, a former nurse clinician, now a potter
GIL KLEIN - EVAN & KENDRA’s younger son

About the play:
"Parabolis" by David and Jules Crespy
Parabolis explores the death of JAY KLEIN, a teenager, in a horrific skateboard accident, and the attempt of his divorced parents, EVAN KLEIN and KENDRA PITNEY, to come to terms with his death. EVAN and KENDRA wrestle with the awful rift between them, even as their surviving son, GIL, and JAY's girlfriend, JORDAN, struggle with Jay's death, and EVAN’s pregnant second wife, RACHEL, tries to deal with EVAN’s rage. Parabolis is a play about the terrible gift of loss, and the compassion that it can bring.
