1.) "THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY"
Synopsis: Taylor and Jeremy are a young gay couple and want a child. They've sought out a surrogate mother, but instead of artificially inseminating her, they intend to do things the old-fashioned way. While the surrogate waits in the adjacent room, Taylor and Jeremy struggle to overcome their nerves about the situation, and more importantly, which of them will ultimately do the deed. Comedy/Drama.
TAYLOR - To portray 20-30. A young, timid man. He loves Jeremy but often feels manipulated by him. In the end, he finds his voice and the courage to stand up for himself. All ethnicities.
JEREMY - To portray 20-30. The more assertive and "macho" of the two protagonists. Under his tough exterior, Jeremy is extremely vulnerable. All ethnicities.
THE SURROGATE - To portray 25-50. A nonplussed woman who has 'been around.' All ethnicities.
2.) "FIT TO BURST"
Synopsis: Greg and Pat are dining with their wives at an upscale restaurant, when Greg realizes he has to pee, and excuses himself from the table. In the restroom, Greg stands at the urinal, but, try as he might, is incapable of making anything happen. Tension mounts as younger men enter and exit the bathroom in little to no time. Greg imagines what will happen when he finally returns to the table, specifically, the reaction of Pat, who is obnoxious and crude. When Pat himself finally enters the bathroom to relieve himself alongside Greg, he starts giving his friend a hard time about his presumed prostate issues. Things turn ugly. (Dark comedy.)
GREG - To portray 45-80. An introverted and neurotic man whose debilitating worst-case scenario imaginings become the centerpiece of the film. He progresses from timid anxiety to quiet rage. A protagonist with only two lines, it's a primarily facial/physical performance. All ethnicities.
PAT - To portray 45-80. A boisterous, rude and loud man. He loves to laugh at the expense of others, specifically Greg. He's an enormously wealthy businessman and is the life of the party, but doesn't seem to know when to dial it down. All ethnicities.
ROBERTA - To portray 30-80. Greg's wife. She laughs along with Pat's jokes at her husband's expense, but displays some concern when Greg begins looking worse for wear. One line. All ethnicities.
JANE - To portray 30-80. Pat's wife. She lives to laugh at her husband's horrible jokes. No written lines, some improvisation. All ethnicities.
