How Much?
It's FREE... aren't you paying attention?
FOR WHOM?
Any Stage, Film, Television or Opera Actors/Actresses between the ages of 13 and 93 who want to be prepared for that dream role that involves not just character but PHYSICAL conflict.
WHAT WILL WE BE LEARNING?
BASIC Staged Combat consists of:
an overview of "ACTING THE FIGHT"
Stances
Out-of-distance Punches: Haymakers, Hooks
In-Distance Punches: Crosses, Jabs
Contact Blows: Stomach Punches, Round-House Kick to the stomach, Crescent Kick to the "face"
Hair-pulls
Chokes
Middle-Blocks
Sit-falls
Forward Rolls, Shoulder Rolls
"Judo" Flips
DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER?
YES! The space that SOUNDSTAGE PRODUCTIONS has provided is great but all spaces have their limitations. We will need to cut-off enrollment in the FREE class at 30 students. Pre register simply by e-mailing: mark@Fight-Director .org. If you are in the first 30... you'll be notified by e-mail that you're in! If you register after that, you'll be notified by e-mail that you are on a waiting list for cancellations. If you need to cancel, please inform us ASAP.
WHEN WILL THE FIRST REGULAR SESSION OF MASC BEGIN
AND HOW MUCH WILL THAT BE?
The 1st ever regular session of the MISSOURI ACADEMY OF STAGED COMBAT will be BASIC STAGED COMBAT (Much more detailed and intensive than the FREE class), it will take place every Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Session are 8 weeks long. Dates for the 1st session are:

$18 per hour-and-a-half class for students
