Creative ecommerce call center is on the prowl, hunting fun-loving comedians who need real jobs.
A warm and slightly wacky, rapidly accelerating company, experiencing mushrooming, supersonic volume growth, we are casting friendly, responsible, dedicated and committed interaction connoisseurs to play part time and full time roles in our call center: interacting with callers, performing customer service, providing information, and helping them place orders. This is not a sales job.
Qualified candidates are comfortable with themselves, communicate well with others, strive to learn, and enjoy focusing their conversation on the needs of the speaker.
If you are right for us, you are not needy or approval-seeking, and don't possess a need to score the best line (although it sure feels good when it happens!) Our favs don’t feel pressure to be funny or perfect all the time; rather, they are infused with a love of life and people, and enjoy spreading it around.
This is the UNcorporation: We celebrate and embrace people’s flaws, and view gaps in knowledge as opportunities (besides the funny part). We strive for excellence, not by demanding perfection in people or their performance, but by encouraging honesty, humility, and a growth-oriented mentality.
If you think this is you, then quit wasting your time online and send us an email.
We can’t wait to meet you. Oh, and when we do: If, for some reason, you think we’re not as cool as we think WE are, please break it to us gently. That can really sting.
Answers to FAQs:

The position? It’s permanent. Like your face, the kid you had, and that comment you blurted to the judge.
No, customers don’t boo you if you bomb.
No, we do not work for Al Gore.
No, you can’t solicit tips from callers. Well, not the ones already in a fellow employee’s territory, anyway.
