High School Band/ Musicians - REMINDER
at Shakespeare Squadron in St. Louis City, MO
Shakespeare Squadron, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' teen acting company is seeking musicians to provide live music for the upcoming performance workshop of Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Henry V.
We are seeking an already established band with a guitar player, drummer/ percussionist and bass guitar player, but we will consider other instruments. Experience with back-up vocals and songwriting is helpful, but not required.
We will also consider individual musicians who have experience working with an ensemble or band. Guitarist should have an intermediate level of skills (i.e. chords and chord progressions and some finger picking). All musicians should have a level of comfort onstage.
Musicians need to be available for some rehearsals late January- late February and are required to attend all rehearsals March 5-8, 5:30-8:30 and performances March 9-11.
Auditions will take place December 12, 5-8pm at the Union Avenue Christian Church, 733 Union Boulevard, St. Louis, MO, 63108-1037.
Please prepare a short piece that shows off your skills. Original music welcome.
