St. Louis Renaissance Faire Seeking Lane Performer/Buskers and Stage Acts for 2012 Season
The St. Louis (MO, USA) Renaissance Faire at Rotary Park in Wentzville, MO is looking for 6 to 12 street performer/buskers to entertain in the lanes at the Faire this coming May and June, 2012. The Faire is a family-friendly, four-weekend event beginning May 19, running Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day until June 9. We are seeking musicians, mimes, minstrels, magicians, jugglers, balladeers, and assorted variety artists. Performers are expected to provide their own era-appropriate costuming and props. Performers can pass the hat and may receive a small daily stipend, depending on the act. Auditions will be held at the Masonic Hall, 602 Meyer Road, Wentzville, MO 63385, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012; 10 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, January 21, 2012; and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The Faire is also looking for 3 to 6 street-theater-style stage acts appropriate for our stages, where the fourth wall is meant to be broken.
