Kirkwood Theater Guild’s Drama Studio has one spot available for its Winter 2011 Classes.
Instructor: Tom Murray
An acting intensive designed for serious performers who want to hone their craft. In a collaborative setting, actors will polish their skills through scene work, script analysis, and peer critique. Included will be explorations of cold reading techniques, audition monologues and improvisation. The many diverse theories of acting will be examined and put into practice through vigorous solo and multi-actor performances. The goal is the creation of a personal commitment to believable and deeply felt acting.
Class Dates: Saturdays 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/14, 4/28, 5/5
Time: 12:15pm-1:45pm
Fee: $150
Maximum class size: 12 students
