Children (ages 7-16)
9 a.m. – Noon
Children should arrive by 9 a.m. prepared with sheet music to sing eight bars of a song. Even something as simple as Happy Birthday is appropriate. In addition, be prepared to dance basic steps provided by the choreographer. Please bring a recent photo.
Adults (Equity, Non-Equity, Singers and Dancers)
1 – 5 p.m.
Adult auditions are by appointment only. Please contact Laura Boyle at 314-720-7713 or laura@varietystl.org. Adults should be prepared to sing at least 32 bars of a song (please bring sheet music) and perform a short monologue (1-2 minutes). We also ask that adults provide a resume and photo.
This one-of-a-kind program, presented by Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis, puts professional adults and children of all abilities on stage under the direction of Tony Nominee Lara Teeter and some of the most sought-after directors and designers in St. Louis. ANNIE follows on the heels of the program’s successful run of musicals – The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, OLIVER! and The Wizard of Oz.
