The mission of St Lou Fringe is to connect brave artists with bold audiences. In our first year, we have already experienced a demand for public appearances by artists who take to heart the international Fringe philosophy: works that are unjuried, uncensored, and accessible. The result is innovative, brave work that propels the status-quo of performing arts.
St Lou Fringe regularly receives requests for performers at special events. These present unique opportunities for artists to directly interact with patrons, building their audience and creatively publicizing their work.
St Lou Fringe recognizes any discipline that can define itself as performing art: theatre, music, dance, vaudeville/circus, acrobatics, clowning, performance art, spoken word/slam, improv, comedy, inter-disciplinary, live visual art demo, you name it.
