Auditions for Tesseract Theatre's '12-'13 Season

The Tesseract Theatre Company will be holding Auditions for its 2012-2013 Season!
Where: The Regional Arts Commission Building, 6128 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, Missouri 63112
When: Sunday May 27th, 2012 @ 2:30pm – 6pm (by appointment)
Shows/Roles for upcoming season:
Show #1: The Landlord by Megan McEnery (October 3 – 7, 2012):
Kate (Female/Mid-twenties) – HAS BEEN PRECAST BY TESSERACT THEATRE ENSEMBLE MEMBER
Don (Male/Fifties) – An older man who has lived a long life and has a very fragile mind.
Show #2: A Thing With Feathers by Kevin Ferguson (November 7 – 18, 2012):
Mary (Female/Thirties) – Mother to a teenage daughter, lives with her mother.
Birdie (Female/Fifties) – Grandmother to Hope, mother to Mary.
Hope (Female/Teenager) – THIS ROLE HAS BEEN PRECAST
Sam (Male/Teenager) – Hope’s teenage boyfriend.
Show #3: Mr. Marmalade by Noah Haidle (December 12 – 16, 2012):
Bradley (Male/Any Age) – An assistant to Mr. Marmalade, Lucy’s imaginary friend
*ALL OTHER ROLES HAVE BEEN PRECAST BY TESSERACT THEATRE ENSEMBLE
Show #4: To the New Girl From the Former Mrs. _______: Sound Advice for my Husband’s Wife or Mistress by Samantha Macher (March 13 – 24, 2013):
This is a ten women show with monologues.
We are looking for ten diverse women ranging in age and race.
Show #5: A Fool For Love by Sam Shepard (April 24 – 28, 2013)
Eddie (Male/Thirties-Forties) – Stunt man, May’s old lover, rough exterior
May (Female/Thirties-Forties) – Being pursued by Eddie, emotionally damaged
Old Man (Male/Old) – A mysterious old man, always present
Boyfriend (Male/Thirties-Forties) – May’s new boyfriend, a nice guy
Show #6: You Won’t See Me by Caitlin McCommis(May 22 – 26, 2013):
John – PART HAS BEEN PRECAST BY TESSERACT THEATRE ENSEMBLE
Mal (Male/Thirties-Forties) – Friend and helping hand to The Beatles, unsure if he wants to tell his life story

We will be assigning time slots every fifteen minutes from 2:30 – 5:30.
Please indicate what time works best for you or ‘open’ if you’re available at any time.
Also indicate what roles in the season that you would be suited for.
Please come with resume and a list of schedule conflicts up to four weeks prior to any performance dates for the shows you are auditioning for. (Headshots are not required but will be accepted.)
