Auditions for Musical Theater Showcase (Looking for Teenagers)

INTENSE MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP 2012:
Come enjoy a week of an intense Musical Theater Workshop where students will learn advance acting, dancing, and singing skills for the stage and learn new musicals from Broadway that have unique story lines and are more challenging to perform. At the end of the camp, students will do song selections/scenes from the following shows: Legally Blonde, 25th…Spelling Bee, Aida, The Wedding Singer, Little Shop Of Horrors, and In the Heights, and Rent.
**Although this camp is titled “Over the Edge” all songs chosen from these shows will be family-friendly and appropriate for this age group.
This workshop will be through auditions only.
Auditions will be Saturday June 16th 10:00am-1:00pm & Sunday June 17th from 4pm-9pm at Trinity Lutheran School (600 Water Street, Edwardville-IL). If you can not make the auditions and would like to audition on a different time/date, please contact the number given below to set up an appointment.
Audition Requirements: All students who wish to audition, must be in 7th grade-seniors in High School from the 2011-2012 School year.
**Please prepare two 32 bar songs of your choice of any Broadway musical. An accompanist will be provided. Make sure the song shows your best vocal feature.
**Please provide a resume and a head shot (this does not have to be professional. It can be a school year book picture as well.)
The Camp will run Saturday July 14th 6:00pm-10:00pm, Sunday July 15th 4pm-10pm and Monday-Friday (July 16th-20th) from 9:00am-4:00pm and a performance on Saturday, July 21st at 7:30pm at Trinity Lutheran School.
The cost for the camp will be $80.00. This will be needed after the camp auditions.
