IMPROVISATION FOR ADULTS
Age: 18 and up.
Improvisation teaches poise, quick thinking and cooperation, while developing the ability to create and communicate both physically and vocally. Improvisation is a tool that can be used by anyone in any circumstance. Through exercises and improv games, participants will gain a better understanding of how improvisation can be used in rehearsal, on stage and in life.

ACTING FOR ADULTS
Age: 18 and up.
Students will build upon skills and techniques such as focus and relaxation, voice and diction. They will participate in ensemble and character building exercises as well as work on monologues and scenes.

David Wassilak is a St. Louis based actor, director and producer. He previously served as Associate Artistic Director for St. Louis Actors’ Studio, was an Associate Artistic Director for Orthwein Theatre Company, and was a co-founder and producer for The Midnight Company. David was chosen as Best Actor in the 2006 St. Louis 48 Hour Film Project, Riverfront Times Best Actor in 1999, earned numerous Judy Awards over the years from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and was nominated for two Kevin Kline Awards in 2007. He has directed at St. Louis Actors’ Studio, St. Louis Community College at Meramec, The Midnight Company and Orthwein Theatre Company.
