Needing a couple more actors for an upcoming shoot.
at Pale Night Productions in St. Louis, MO
We are looking for a few actors for some video effects we are filming for a high profile, celebrity ensorsed, haunted house being built in Las Vegas, NV that will run as a year round attraction. Below is a list of the actors we are seeking.
60s Era Female - This character will appear in an effect made to look like a portrait. She will speak a couple lines of dialogue and then appear to be burned alive. There will be some make-up application involved. The character should have approximately shoulder length blonde hair and appear to be in her late 20s or 30s.
60s Era Male - This character will also appear in an effect made to look like a portrait. He will speak a couple lines of dialogue and then appear to be killed by several knife slits all over his body. The may be some make-up application involved. The character should have dark hair long enough to slick back in a 60s era hair cut and appear to be in his late 20s or 30s.
Ticket Taker - This character will be seen in the lobby of the attraction and is intended to be some entertainment for people waiting in line. The character will appear to be speaking to the guests and will often become possessed by an evil spirit that makes her say mean and creepy things. This is a heavily dialogue driven part. We need someone comfortable with delivering lines and delivering some of them in a crazed, menacing way. The character should appear to be in her late 40s or 50s (we may be able to work with younger) and have approximately shoulder length hair.
All of these characters will, at one time or another, appear scared and or scary. The two portrait charcters need to be able to convincingly portray absolute terror and panic as they are openly and violently killed. The ticket taker character must be able to convincingly portray a frazzled but friendly character who, at a moments notice, can turn into an evil, menacing character.
Each character would be used on a seperate day with the ticket taker needed on Wednesday June 20th and the two portrait characters needed on either Thursday June 21st or Friday June 22nd. We will pay each actor $50/hour at a minimum of 2 hours. Each actor should count on 2 to 4 hours of filming but be prepared in case we need to film longer than 4 hours. The studio where we will be filming is in St. Louis near the corner of Machester and Hanley.
If interested, please respond with head shots and any applicable experience. We will be making casting decisions on Tuesday.
