BLACK REP 2013 Season 36 Auditions
at The Black Rep in St. Louis City, MO
The Black Rep will hold general auditions for several of its Mainstage shows in its 36th season.
Auditions will be held Monday, September 10, 3-8pm, at The Black Rep Rehearsal Space,
1717 Olive, 4th Floor, 63103.
Appointments can be made beginning Tuesday, September 4, by calling The Black Rep at
(314) 534-3810, and asking for Ashley Henderson. 3-4pm has been set aside for Actors Equity
auditions, with 4-8pm audition slots available for everyone.
Available roles include:
African American men and women, ages 25-50, for
THE PIANO LESSON (Jan 9-Feb 3, 2013)
African American and Caucasian men, ages 25-35, for
THE WHIPPING MAN (Mar 20-April 14, 2013) and
SMASH/HIT (April 24-May 19 2013)
A variety of ages, African American singing and dancing actors, for
THE WIZ (May 29-June 30, 2013)
Those auditioning should bring two contrasting monologues, headshot and resume.
Those auditioning for THE WIZ should bring 16 bars of music they will perform
for the audition.
