Seeking a Lead Guitarist for (African American) Baptist Church- PAY!
at Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis City, MO
Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church is seeking a Guitar player to play for our worship service Edwardsville, IL s every Sunday. We have church at 10:45am and get done about 1:00pm.
Rehearsals are on Saturdays at 11:00am and sometimes on Thursdays.
We already have a minister of music who plays (organ/keyboard) two drummers, and a bass!
Please call our Minister of Music at 618-980-8524 if you are interested. There is a possibility of pay involved!
Requirements:
Must be a Christian and a true believer in Christ and we prefer you are some what either Missionary Baptist or COGIC as our church has a COGIC feel to it!
Need to know Gospel music very well (Hezekiah Walker, Fredd Hammond, Kirk Franklin, New Direction Choir, Ricky Dillard....and all of the above) and we do some Christian Contemporary (Hill Song, Israel and Houghton, Judith McCallister, T.D Jakes Choir)
Must play very and have some musical background in church music.
Must be serious about praising the Lord.
Must be able to play by ear VERY well.
