First Run Theatre, a non-profit professional theatre company, is calling for directors for our 8th season. Resumes will be accepted through January 31 2009. First Run Theatre will do three productions, selected from our 2009 submissions, in June, July 2010, and January 2011 and the Spectrum short play festival in the fall. We currently need two directors. All directors will be paid a stipend and the productions, except Spectrum, will be judged for the Kevin Kline Awards.

All performances except Spectrum and most rehearsals will be in the Thomas Hunter Theater at DeSmet Jesuit High School.

Prospective directors are strongly suggested to attend as many readings as possible of First Run Theatre’s Play Reading Festival on February 12, 13, and 14, 2010. Productions for the upcoming season will be selected from these readings. Plays for Spectrum will be selected at a later date.
