Casting for OVER THE TAVERN
at Carrie Houk in Webster Groves, MO
"Over the Tavern" presented by The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis 2010-11 CHILDREN'S CASTING
Carrie Houk Casting will be accepting submissions for two children's roles in "Over The Tavern" by Tom Dudzick.
There are two roles to cast:
Rudy – 12 years old
Georgie – 13 years old Rudy’s brother (severely retarded his mental age being that of a 3 year old.)
This production is a co-production with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The Repertory Theatre will originate the production and then it transfers to Cincinnati. Our hope is that we will be able to find an actor that can play Rudy at both theatres. The role of Georgie may need to travel to Cincinnati as well.
The first St. Louis rehearsal is November 9th. The play opens December 3rd and closes Dec 26. Rehearsals in Cincinnati will begin January 14. The show opens in Cincinnati on January 22nd. The run in Cincinnati will end February 19.
