All Age Auditions for GODSPELL
at Encore in Collinsville, IL
Join us July 15th at 630 pm for all age auditions for Godspell. One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time, GODSPELL is based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. In the Gospel, Jesus Christ preaches through parables and storytelling. The show, which is not built on a traditional plot, utilizes clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics, and vaudeville to tell the story of Christ.
For audtions, please bring a prepared monologue and song. There will be no accompanist. Cd's or accapella please.
Auditions, rehearsals and performances will be held at the ampitheatre in Woodland Park, Collinsville, IL
Rehearsals will be held: July 19, 22, 23, 26, 29, 30 630-830 pm
August 2, 5, 6, 13, 20, 26, 27 630-830 pm
August 8, 15, 21, 22 1-4 pm
(if there are known conflicts we may be able to work around those. Please email or attend auditions)
Show Dates: August 28 @ 7 pm, 29 @ 2 pm, Sept 4 @ 7pm & Sept 5 @ 2pm.
