at Black Cat Theatre in Maplewood, MO

Auditions for ALL Programs will be held SUNDAY, JULY 25th, 2010 from 1-4pm

Black Cat Theatre, a professional theatre in St. Louis, will be holding auditions for its 2010-2011 season. Looking for equity and non-union actors.

Mainstage shows perform Thurs – Sat at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm

Danny Aspiring Actor, Irishman full of promise, falls for Maddie – 30’s MALE

Round and Round the Garden by Alan Ayckbourn

3 men, 3 women. A lively British farce.
Rehearsals begin Mon, Jan 24th (2wks). Opens Fri, Feb 4th - Sun, Feb 27. THREE WEEKS
Annie-Young girl – 20-30s – English accent.. Takes care of aging mom in English Countryside. Looking for love and adventure. Has fling with Norman.
Tom-Simple good handyman Tom. In love with Annie. A bit slow on the uptake.
Norman-A Rogue. Fun loving, naughty Norman who flirts and sometimes more with all he girls. Married to Ruth – 25-40s
Ruth-Norman’s wife, dry, fast paced, corporate elite air. 30-40s
Reggie & Annie’s older brother. A bit fastidious. Logical & reliable however life is a chore. Married to Sarah. 30-50s
Sarah-Reg’s wife. The busy body of the family. Always organizing and planning and discussing others’ lives. She is a bit lonesome and has a fling with Norman as well. 30-50s

Piwacket Repertory Theatre for Children:

Piwacket runs on an equity LOAPP contract.. Piwacket shows perform regularly on Thurs and Sat mornings at the Black Cat Theatre. Rehearsals flexible - weekends daytime, weekday nites. Company members play a variety of roles. School touring during the day – show times generally between 10-2pm. Looking for non-union actors too. SHOWS:Treasure Island, Hansel & Gretel, Snowman’s Revenge, Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, Piwacket Jamboree
