I need 4-7 people who can mesh well, work on the creative process together and are planning on staying in St. Louis for a while. This will be an ongoing side project that will probably only offer a few performance opportunities at first but hopefully will grow to getting gigs more often.

I want this group to be a bit more on the high end side with the ability to put on a full length show all on its own. Hopefully with the right blend of people we will have skills and talents that can cross over to create group pieces as well as solo acts that stand out.

Compensation wont be much at first. We will basically be utilizing the time as free practice and skill share while we are developing the group and concept. Once we feel solid enough in our acts and show then we can sell the concept and put on shows.

This may be a little far fetched for some of you and I understand this, but if you are interested in seeing what this concept could be, please send me a resume and head shots. 18 and over only. Multiple performance skills preferred.

Caucasian female dancer, age 18-26, needed for demo TV spot filmed in HD. Will be filming a dramatic leap in slow-motion with high-end 4k feature-film slo-mo camera Must have some sort of classical training, so that how body is held shows good form throughout entire leap. The entire shot is the leap, so there is no music/choreography to be learned, other than practicing the leap. FYI: the leap is not overly high or dangerous – simply a “dramatic” leap. Must be attractive – face and body, and in good form. Prefer slim body type, not overly muscular please. This is a paid demo job; If spot is picked up after submission, you will be paid again, for actual running of commercial (at much higher rate). You may also have a copy of the demo commercial for your own reel.

Please submit a head shot and short bio. Include ful-length pics if you have them and/or links to videos of dance you have performed. Include credits. Will probably shoot during weekday, but am flexible if you can only shoot weekends. Required time: 4-5 hours, including prep and rehearsal. This session is with a professional, network-credited Director and professional film crew, not a student or amateur session.

COCA Talent Identified Program (TIP) Auditions at COCA

Saturday, April 6 from 1:00-3:00. Registration will be at 12:30.

These auditions are open to any student not previously a student at COCA that has the talent and potential for the TIP program and who is currently in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade. Please encourage any student you think might benefit from dance training at COCA.

The TIP Program is a 100% Scholarship program based on both talent and financial need. All applicants will need to fill out a general application for their personal information such as address, birthday and age, phone and email addresses, etc. You will also be required to fill out a financial application and turn in a copy of your 2012 Income Taxes which states your Gross Annual Income. Both of these will need to be given to COCA before acceptance into the TIP Program.

There are no partial scholarships for the TIP program but you can fill out an application for the Financial Aid Program which will allot you financial aid on a scale according to your gross annual income. In this program, students will receive financial aid while taking classes at COCA. However, once you are a registered student at COCA, your eligibility for the TIP Program will be negated.
